Day with A Local: Private Full-Day Cultural Family Experience including 4-Course Dinner

They say there are settlements around Lake Velencei and there is Pázmánd!

In the last centuries the closed community of people living here has kept the values, traditions and convergent approaches which ensured the subsistence and which, in these days, make it special and unique. Hundreds of tourists are tempted to visit and settle down by the wonderful resources of Pázmánd besides the charm of the community.

The day begins with shopping for the raw materials in the biggest market hall of the city, where you will spend an hour.

After you will go together by private car to Pázmánd to their house where you will learn how to prepare traditional Hungarian dishes. If you wish you can join the preparation and cooking process as well.

After cooking, you can have a pleasant walk to the 40 million years old Zsidó mountain. The 2-300 million-years-old granites and the “ingókő” of Velencei Mountains are well-known. The story of the mild hills of Pázmánd began only 40 million years ago. The area was covered with the water of the sea and was located near the tropic of cancer. The sun was shrouded by volcanic ash-clouds.

The program ends with a 4 course dinner either in the garden or inside in their house depending on the weather.
