Ultimate Adventure Night Hiking Tour: Lantau Peak For Sunrise

This memorable night hike to Lantau Peak begins with pickup from a central meeting point in Hong Kong. Your guide ensures that you check over your equipment before boarding the ferry (own expense) for the crossing to Lantau Island, in preparation for your ascent. 

From Mui Wo village we board another bus to take us to the start of the trail and adventure awaits, where you will have a final equipment check and time for any adjustments. Possible wildlife sightings include porcupines, boar, and even the elusive barking deer. Due to the remote location, the Milky Way can often be seen along with other wonders of the night sky, depending on the time of year.

Continue steadily upward along a well trodden path that provides views of Shek Pik and, even sometimes, Macau by night. The climb gets progressively steeper as you pass by the Halfway point where we can take a look at the Wisdom path before starting the final ascent over large steep steps to take us to the summit.

From Hong Kong's highest accessible peak, you'll observe a spellbinding sunrise (subject to weather conditions) while your guide serves tea and coffee; you are free to bring your own snacks.

After you descend, use your provided ticket to catch a bus back to Mui Wo. From here, you'll board the return ferry (own expense) to Central.
