Best of Venice Full Day Trip from Ljubljana

This is a small group approach with carefully planned opportunities to experience Venice. A local tour chauffeur/guide will collect you at designated location for a two-and-a-half-hour ride to Italy to visit Venice. Once arrived at the destination, you will be informed of the history of the city and all the possible activities to experience.

Walk through the streets of the city, admiring the beauty of its old and fascinating buildings that end at the border of the channels, full of boats and Gondolas. Cross the Rialto Bridge, one of the most visited places of the city, where you can admire one of the main channels from where many boats leave.

Follow the streets to end at St. Mark’s Square, where the greatness of the Ducal Palace and the Clock Tower will leave you breathless. Go near the shore of the great channel where many Gondolas wait for the tourists, and enjoy a coffee at one of the many places with live music in the square.

Renergize by having lunch in one of the many restaurants that serve typical Italian food, like pasta, pizza, and the classic wines produced in Italy. Then, take a Gondola that will let you ride the city through the channels, enjoying it in a different way from the water, and be delighted by the gondolier’s songs.

Upon return, take a break in one of the many bars and enjoy the most typical drink called Spritz, admiring the great views at sunset. Also, take a souvenir of the city, like one of the beautiful handmade Venetian Masks that are used in the famous carnivals of the city.

After a nice half day experience you will return back to Ljubljana, where you will be dropped-off at your hotel.
