Snowmobile Adventure on Langjökull Glacier from Gullfoss

Your adventure begins at 1pm at the Gullfoss Café. Meet your guide, then hop aboard the 4x4 ice truck for the drive to Langjökull glacier. Take some time during the drive to look out the windows of the monster truck and soak in the Icelandic scenery.

Once you arrive at basecamp on the east side of the glacier, your guide will distribute helmets, overalls, overshoes, gloves and hats. Watch carefully as your guide demonstrates how to operate the snowmobile and goes over all safety procedures. After your gear is on and you’re comfortable on the snowmobile, your ride begins.

Zip through the snow and ice fields behind your guide. Feel your adrenaline soar as you speed across the glacier and take in the sights.

When the tour is over, return to basecamp on your snowmobile and board the truck for the drive back to Gullfoss.

Gullfoss is located in southwest Iceland about 2 hour drive from Reykjavík 

The snowmobiles seat two people and children are welcome to ride as passengers as long as they have reached the age of six
