Acerca de esta actividad
Sevilla has a unique tapas tradition that differs from other places in Spain and, furthermore, its labyrinth of narrow streets and plethora of awnings, can be a bit intimidating and make it difficult to differentiate between local quality and touristy taverns. What therefore could be better than to discover the secrets of this stunning Andalusian city in the company of a charming local guide, who will reveal the do's and don'ts and regale you with fascinating anecdotes about the city, its traditions and rich history, all while giving you an invaluable insight into Sevilla's great tapas scene? We will visit four very typical Andalusian bars, to enjoy the local specialties. Traditionally, tapas are done standing up, though we often try to book a sit-down table for our last stop. All bars are approximately 15 minutes (or less) walking distance from each other, though this will take longer as we regale you with fascinating local facts and anecdotes about the city and its culture while walking you through the streets of Sevilla and giving you insider tips and ideas for the rest of your stay! Our goal is to leave you with an authentic and memorable feel for the city and its people through what we believe is the best way possible - eating and drinking like a local! Our tapas expert will advise you on the specialties in each Spanish bar we visit, providing a translation and explanation of each dish. We aim to offer a personalized service; so, if you have any special requests or requirements, dietary or otherwise, please let us know, and we will be delighted to do our best to accommodate them. And, while we will always try to accommodate client likes and dislikes, we will also encourage you to push your boundaries to try new and amazing things. At the end of the tour, we can either give you suggestions on where to continue your night with an after-dinner drink (for example on a roof-top terrace bar with stunning views over the Giralda) or point you in the direction of your hotel, meeting point or transport. On average, we calculate that you'll spend a total of EUR30-35 on food and drink for your entire night and will have eaten and drunk to your stomach and heart's content! Also, Spanish tapas are made for sharing! So, our tour groups often put their money together in a pot at the start of the night, as this tends to be the easiest and best value way of doing things. This is decided by individuals on the night of the tour.
